Options Information Meeting

This is a meeting for a fixed fee of £200 plus VAT for an individual meeting or £120 plus VAT per person for a joint meeting with your former Partner. The meeting will last for about an hour.

In the meeting you are provided with Legal Information on: Separation, Divorce, Finance, Agreements, Orders and the Process Options available to you and your former Partner.

As this is an Information Meeting your circumstances are not applied to the law and legal advice is not provided.

This is just what some people are looking for before making decisions about family change, the best process for them and their family and the next step to take.

You will be provided with an Information Pack but no report letter.

Process Options

You have a choice of Process Options and may decide to use:

  • Personal Negotiation: “Kitchen Table” with task specific legal advice;
  • Mediation with legal advice alongside;
  • Task Specific Legal Advice;
  • Traditional Solicitor Negotiation with a full legal retainer;
  • Collaborative Separation and Divorce;
  • Arbitration
  • Application to the Court.
  • You can use one or a combination of these process options, taking the best from each, tailored to your needs and budget.

Professional Support

You can be supported by other professionals: Family Consultants, Accountants, IFAs, Counsellors, Valuers and Surveyors, as the need arises.

You may attend the Options Information Meeting alone or with your former Partner.  As this is an information meeting, neither you or your former Partner, if you attend together, will become clients until you decide how you wish to proceed and instruct us further either as a client for traditional legal advice, negotiations and or applications to the Court or in Collaborative Separation and Divorce or advice during Mediation or as your Family Mediator.

It is important to obtain legal information and advice, at an early stage, to consider the best way to proceed and to plan all aspects of your future.
