Jenine Imms
Partner
I have dedicated over 15 years of career exclusively to family law. I became part of a boutique Legal 500 family law firm in Kingston in 2010, where I swiftly assumed responsibility for my own clients.
In 2015, I achieved admission as a Chartered Legal Executive. I subsequently obtained admission as a litigator and advocate in June 2024, providing me with independent practice rights and the ability to represent clients in court.
In 2023, I ascended to the role of Partner and established a mentorship program for aspiring young lawyers. I continued the role as a mentoring partner at a national Legal 500 family law firm, before taking up a new challenge in my family law career as area, Team Leader Partner.
Outside of work, I find pleasure in spending time with my young family and travelling.

Expertise & Experience
I possess comprehensive expertise and experience in every facet of private family law. I hold a particular interest in divorce/dissolution and high net worth (HNW) finances, which encompasses cross-jurisdictional issues and enforcement proceedings. Additionally, I am well-versed in matters concerning children and I am proficient in addressing all aspects related to cohabiting families.
I place a strong emphasis on client care, prioritising the importance of my clients feeling supported while receiving pragmatic advice. My focus lies in achieving early resolution through non-contentious methods, with the aim of minimising animosity.
I am also committed to safeguarding the child/parent relationship.
