Elderly & Vulnerable Clients

The Elderly: Our specialist team deal with the needs of the elderly client and have a dedicated team which specialises in their needs. If you fear losing control of your assets as you grow older, we can assist you by discussing the preparation of  Lasting Powers of Attorney for you so that someone you trust will always be safeguarding your best interests;  this includes your health and welfare as well as your finances.  We will then work side by side with you or your designated Attorney to provide for your best interests. We will also ensure that, should you need to move into a care home, your finances and benefits are appropriately managed on your behalf.

Other vulnerable and special needs clients: We have considerable experience in dealing with vulnerable people of all ages and special needs children including adult children.  We will advise you on how such a person can be protected in the long term so that they are financially secure and have trustees, attorneys and or deputies to assist with their personal welfare.

We can assist you with:

  • Preparing and finalising your Will
  • Preparing for Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax savings
  • Setting up a Trust to care for vulnerable family members
  • Elderly client care
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Deferred payment of care home costs
  • Claiming Attendance Allowance
  • Living Wills/Advance Decisions
  • Statutory Wills (made by the Court if the person lacks mental capacity)
