Expertise & Experience
I joined Stone Rowe Brewer in 1981, becoming a Partner in 1987; one of the main reasons I have remained with the same firm for my entire legal career is the firm’s insistence throughout all of its Departments that each client is catered for in a personal way with a tailored approach caring for each client’s individual needs. These days, there is much pressure to standardise legal work. I believe that such pressure fails to recognise that individual clients have individual and often diverse requirements.
I was previously committed to personal injury claims since 1981 and helped clients with not only “everyday” accidents such as accidents on the road, at work and in on other people’s properties but also the more rare problems such as work related illnesses and disorders including asbestosis, mesothelioma, vibration white finger and other conditions.
I was actively involved in the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) as a Fellow. I was the Head of Stone Rowe Brewer’s personal injury department since its formation in the 1980s but retiring from that department in 2017.
Since April 2017, I am utilising my experience as a solicitor and in management within my role as the firm’s Practice Partner.
Away from work, I enjoy participating and watching sports. I was born and primarily educated in Hampshire and still live there with my family.
