Ice-skating has been a popular recreational activity in our area for generations – whether that be on the frozen River Thames in the depths of winter during the Victorian era, or at the much-missed Richmond Ice Rink.
Following its closure in the early-90s, residents of our Borough have often asked why the promised replacement for Richmond was never delivered. Therefore, Stone Rowe Brewer LLP were delighted to become one of the partner companies to have helped bring a temporary rink to York House this winter between November 30th and January 12th.
By providing the legal expertise that was necessary, the Borough of Richmond, once again has a rink to be proud of – one that will hopefully return year after year.
A Radio Jackie advertising campaign will run for the next eight weeks to promote the rink, however, tickets are already on sale via the Richmond Ice Rink website, which you can access by clicking here.
Stone Rowe Brewer are also producing a special free ‘Memories of Richmond Ice Rink’ booklet that will be available to all skaters, as well from Stone Rowe Brewers’ reception in Church Street Twickenham, while the rink is open.
