New Pension Rights For Nannies and Carers
From today, small businesses with up to 30 staff, along with families who employ a nanny or carer, will be required to offer pension provisions under the auto-enrolment rules which were originally introduced by the Government in 2012. Therefore, all employees aged over 22 years of age earning more than £10,000 become eligible to workplace pension rights if they choose.
This will affect many people in the Twickenham and Teddington area who may not have been aware of the implementation of these pension rules – and speaking to one of our employment experts may help bring clarification and peace of mind that you are complying with the new arrangement and be able to better inform nannies or carers who work for you.
