The ‘Cycle to Germany’ team began their journey on Saturday 23rd May and finished the cycle five days later, on Wednesday 27th May. The 370km journey was turned into a 430km ride due to numerous road closures and re-routes, but the great news is that over £750 has now been raised for two very worthy charities – Leukeamia & Lymphoma Research and United Through Sport.
The cyclists stayed in Dunkirk, Gent, Brussels, Eindhoven, Venlo and visited many cities and towns across the five days. It was a tough, but enjoyable, ride and fun was had by all three of the team.
Murray, Ian & Ian would like to thank Stone Rowe Brewer for their kind sponsorship and to everyone who has supported the team throughout the ride.
